I took a bit of time out from blogging and recently really started to miss it, I haven’t had a platform to express my creativity, inspiration or all of those waffling thoughts!
In August I finally moved apartments and into a lovely 3 bed flat with 2 other girls I met on spare room, it’s a great size and perfect location. Currently I’m cooking a roast and feeling like I’m living somewhere I can call home.
Here are a few things that are still on my wish list….
This year has been truly crazy. Between traveling every month seeing friends planning my birthday (eek) I’ve also decided to move apartments. If you’re moving in London then I wouldn’t suggest reading any Buzzfeed articles on what you’re money could get you other places in Britain because you will get depressed.
Anyway here are some inspiring images of a dream wall in a home I could never afford!
I’ve been thinking about moving apartment recently, which of course got me pinning on pinterest my “dream home”. I’m sure it exists just certainly out of my price range. These slogan buntings are so cute, I’ve seen them about on blogs and I would love to find out where I can make my own?!
I’m also on the look out for amazing photos/paintings of the sea to clutter up a new room. Doesn’t the 70’s table diner just look fab!
I have been having one of those days where you just feel so ill you cant actually spend your time doing anything worthwhile that I have just been collecting images of my perfect home! I don’t know if I have selected a contemporary studio flat, English cottage or sea side resort but these are a few of my favorite images…. These next cushions (£12) would also be perfect on a vintage wooden chair at the top of the stairs. *sigh* I need to save for a mortgage….
I thought I would share the festive decorations that have taken over my house. I don’t know if it is the same situation when you think your child is the cutest but I do think that my mum’s decorations kick ass.
We are truly blessed to be spending the holidays as a happy family, it is the first year my mum isn’t taking the full responsibility of cooking which I know she is really looking forward to and we are spending the day all together at my sisters house.
Our Christmas trees have a very strict colour scheme; the large tree in the lounge has to co-ordinate with the overall purple lounge decorations. Whilst the smaller Christmas tree (which I once called horrid and banned it from the lounge) glows and is adorned with shiny gold and red decorations!!
No it does not stop there thankfully, scattered about the house we have ball balls hanging and snowmen and reindeers and all things that glitter. Our street comes together getting in the festive mood and lighting up their houses with dazzling Christmas lights! We might only be living in the drizzling south of England, but on Christmas eve when I stumble home after a few drinks it feels like VEGAS.
